Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and kjobdone ("kjobdone," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you use kjobdone.com or the kjobdone application, API, or MCP server (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you can enter into legal agreements for yourself and for any company or organization you represent.

1. The Service

kjobdone is cloud-based dispatch and field service management software. It helps businesses schedule, dispatch, and track their service teams, and manage jobs, estimates, invoices, customer messages, and reports.

2. Your account and conduct

• Give accurate information for your account, and keep it up to date if your company or payment details change.
• Keep your password and integration keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not use the Service to abuse, harass, or defame anyone, or to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
• Do not send spam, upload viruses or other malicious code, or try to disable, overload, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not use the Service to violate anyone's intellectual property rights.
• Connect software to the Service only through our published REST API and MCP server, using integration keys from your account, as described in our developer docs. Any other automated access needs our written permission.
• You are responsible for the messages you send to your customers through the Service, including getting any consent the law requires.

Letting a User create an account is not an endorsement of that User's skills, products, or services. Users are not employees, contractors, or agents of kjobdone.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

New accounts start with a free trial. No payment card is needed to start it. The length of the trial is shown on our pricing and sign-up pages. When the trial ends, you need a paid subscription to keep using the Service.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the price shown on our pricing page, through our payment provider, Stripe. Each subscription renews automatically every month unless you or we cancel it.

If a payment fails, we will let you know and you will have 10 calendar days to fix it. If we still cannot collect payment, we may make your account inactive. You can reactivate it by contacting us within 30 days; after that, the account may be closed.

You can request a refund up to the fifth day of a billing period. After the fifth day, that period is not refundable. You can cancel at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

4. License

While your trial or subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the Service for your business. You may not sublicense, copy, distribute, or resell the Service, make derivative works of it, or try to reverse engineer it.

Account administrators you choose can add users and technicians, change settings, delete records, and turn on features that may change what you pay.

5. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you put into the Service. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and which service providers we use.

6. Links

The Service may link to other websites. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for content on sites we link to.

7. Intellectual property

kjobdone owns the Service and the content we publish on it. "kjobdone" and its logos are our trademarks and may not be used without our written permission.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless kjobdone, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from claims and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

9. Disputes

Any claim or dispute you have with us about these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to bring claims only on your own behalf, not as part of a class action. The most you can recover in a dispute is a full refund of the subscription fees you paid to kjobdone.

If someone has a dispute with a User about that User's own products or services, they must resolve it directly with that User.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms. We will post the new Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Warranty disclaimer

You use the Service at your own risk. It is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including title, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, kjobdone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.

13. Communication

By using the Service, you agree that we may contact you at the contact details you gave us about your account, the Service, and changes to it.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or act in a way we reasonably consider harmful to the Service or other Users.

When an account is closed, we may delete its data from our servers 90 days later; until then you can ask for a copy. Termination may happen without notice and without a refund. Sections 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 15 continue to apply after termination.

15. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. If a court finds any provision invalid, the rest of these Terms still apply.
