Privacy Policy

Last updated:

kjobdone ("kjobdone," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit kjobdone.com (the "Website") and when you use the kjobdone dispatch and field service management application (the "App"; together with the Website, the "Service"). If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, and phone number when you sign up, request access, or contact us
  • Company name and business details
  • Billing information. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technician details, such as names, contact details, and skills
  • Your customers' details, such as names, addresses, and contact details
  • Job, estimate, invoice, and message records you create in the App

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser details, IP address, and approximate location
  • Pages viewed and features used
  • The site that referred you and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, utm_source)
  • Server logs and error reports

2. How we use your information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including dispatching, scheduling, and job management
  • Create and manage your account and your free trial
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send messages and email you or your team ask the App to send
  • Reply to support requests and send account, security, and service notices
  • Understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors, and improve the Service
  • Detect, prevent, and fix technical problems, fraud, and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Data that a business stores about its own customers and technicians in the App belongs to that business. We process it on the business's behalf, only to provide the Service.

3. Analytics, cookies, and local storage on the Website

The Website uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to measure visits and to count sign-ups, log-ins, and enquiries. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or message text to Google Analytics.

The Website also saves the page you first landed on, the referring site, and any campaign tags in your browser's local storage (under the key kjobdone_attribution), so we can tell which sources bring us customers. This stays on your device; you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The App uses essential cookies to keep you signed in; it will not work without them.

4. Service providers we use

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers below only so they can run parts of the Service for us. Each one processes it under its own privacy policy, linked from its name.
